At Studio Jeroen, we believe that each piece of bespoke furniture tells a unique story. Whether you dream of a bespoke-made dining table, a functional bookcase or an atmospheric kitchen, our design process is made to bring your ideas to life. In this blog, we’ll take you through the different stages of our design process for your bespoke furniture, so you know exactly what to expect.
Introduction
The first step in our design process is the introduction. During a no-obligation consultation, we will visit you to discuss all your requirements for your bespoke furniture. This is the time to share your ideas and inspiration. We listen carefully to your needs, style and preferences. Do you have a specific mood or theme in mind? Are there certain materials or colors that appeal to you? Everything you share helps us get a clear picture of your ideal bespoke furniture.
Inspiration session
After the introduction, an inspiration session follows. During this session we will discuss different designs and styles to get a better understanding of what you like and dislike. This is an interactive phase where you can provide feedback on various examples. We’ll discuss what appeals to you in certain designs and what doesn’t, so we can get a clear picture of your personal tastes and preferences. This session helps us work more specifically to create a bespoke piece of furniture that fits you perfectly.
Line drawings
With a good understanding of your needs, we get to work on the line drawings. This is the stage where we establish the basis of the bespoke furniture. We look at the layout, use, material and color of the piece of furniture. Two different line drawings are created to explore different possibilities. We present these designs to you personally and explain them in detail. This gives you a chance to see how your ideas take shape and provides a solid foundation for the continued design process. After the presentation of the line drawings, you will have time to choose a design that you would like to have developed further.
3D designs
Based on your feedback and requirements, we translate the chosen design into detailed 3D designs. This phase includes technical drawings including views and cross-sections. These drawings give a realistic picture of what the final bespoke furniture will look like. By using 3D designs, you can fully imagine how the bespoke furniture will fit into your space and be functional.
At Studio Jeroen, our goal is to create bespoke furniture that perfectly matches your lifestyle and aesthetic. Every detail is worked out with care and precision, so you can enjoy a unique and high-quality bespoke furniture that will last for years. Wondering how we can bring your ideas to life?
